I get an audience involved—personally involved—in a song, because I’m involved myself. It’s not something I do deliberately. I can’t help myself. If the song is a lament at the loss of love, I get an ache in my gust. I feel the loss myself and I cry out the loneliness, the hurt and the pain that I feel.

Song of the day

Frank Sinatra - The Way You Look Tonight

Some day, when I’m awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you…
And the way you look tonight.

Frank Sinatra - I’ve Got You Under My Skin

Whenever I leave school early, I make time to hit up the local chapters and I could probably spend an entire day there if I liked. Between skimming through aisles of books, reading detailed guides for places I want to visit, looking through a couple of cook books, browsing through jazz, classics, opera cds and even sometimes having some starbucks - I find myself at home sometimes.
After finishing another midterm, I decided to reward myself and splurge a little. I couldnt help but purchase a new novel to read (since I just recently finished The Picture of Dorian Gray - extremely good read). So I bought Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet In Heaven  and you really can’t go wrong with $10 cds of both Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra so I had to have them.
Now, I will bask myself with the sounds of Sinatra and start this novel.
